I stayed up all night Friday and refused to sleep until I finished Kingdom Hearts 358/2. People told me the ending was going to be sad, but I didn't know it would be THAT heartbreaking D: Took me four hours, and it was so sad that when I finished I had to start Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box in order to cheer myself up. This game is amazing, I absolutely love it. Part of it is like watching a movie, and it doesn't have any anime or japanese stuff at all, which makes me happy. The story is interesting, the characters are likeable, and even the things that happen over and over ("A gentleman always..." and the popping up of puzzles at the most random of times) are done in a way that's funny, so it's not like, "Ugh, again?" like the sea salt ice cream thing was in KH. I can't believe I didn't get this game earlier. I highly recommend it. The game takes place in England, and they speak in British accents. Whenever they make a British joke that I recognize ("As common as a foggy day in London") I feel special that I actually get it.
While I was sick, I was having four cups of tea a day, and was even starting to drink my soda in fancy tea cups. Then yesterday, I went on a motorcycle ride with my dad. I made sure to visit all the rock shops of course ^-^ When we stopped by Cook's, I was cold and wanted to go home, and was playing PLDB at one of the tables, when suddenly someone shoves someone else against the bar counter. I couldn't tell if it was an accident or not, but the way the person being shoved's face was contorted, my "Oh no" sense clicked and he punched the other guy. A big brawl ensued, tables and chairs were overturned, and my dad was outside, unable to reach me. My empathy senses must be off, because I was mostly amused and not scared at all. Twenty seconds must have past before a woman started screaming, and it was at that point I thought itd be a good idea to put the game away and go someplace safe. After packing up, I went into the bathroom to wait it out. When it was over, Dad said it was probably a good idea to leave at that point, and to never, ever tell my mom what happened. I wasnt really in danger where I was sitting, because they just go after each other, but going into the bathroom was safer so that I wouldnt be hit by debris or see anything horrible. I never panic in situations like that for some reason, and am actually calmer. Mom says that composed attitude is a British thing, but Ive never been back to my London roots, so I guess I wont know for now.
So, in light of all these British-esque events, Ive decided that my persona this week is British Ninja. If you ask, youll be left with more questions.
Also, Ive been inspired by a site called My Life Is Average, and Im going to do one random thing for someone else a week. This week, Im going to pay for the lunch of the person behind me in line. Next week, I have a scavenger hunt planned for the person who sits at my desk in Marine Biology. Maybe Ill spice up someone elses life a little ^-^
One of my friends decided to be brave and ask me to homecoming. I really, really was hoping that he wouldnt, but now that he has, I just pray that I lose yet another friend this way. I already told him Id go if it was just as friends, and he was pretty accepting. I hope that lasts. I dont really wanna go, but I know that its a once in a lifetime experience. My mother caught sight of the rose he gave me, so she sorta pressured me into it. Shes way more exited about it than I am. But, Ill just let myself have some fun.
Other random things include me starting to collect Pokemon cards, my sudden interest in studying jellyfish, and having one of my friend-girls asking me to hang out sometime. I accentuate this because she was being really nice to me, almost like she was trying to impress me. Like Im actually worthy of giving out impression. Its the first time anyones acted that way around me that wasnt trying to date me, and it was a strange but wonderful feeling. Could this mean Im finally acceptable? I hope shes not too lonely.
*END RAMBLING*
